Description
  • To express the state where the body paint has peeled off and the base color is visible.
  1. Apply lacquer-based paints (Tamiya LP, TS, AS, Surfacer / Mr Color C- etc). Cannot use glossy / glossy metallic paints as base color.
  2. Apply Chipping Liquid in multiple thin layers, allowing it to dry in between. (can dilute 20% with water)
  3. Apply acrylic paints in multiple thin layers.
  4. Apply water to the area to be chipped.
  5. When the top-coat acrylic paints soften, the acrylic paints will be peeled off easily with a toothpick or other similar tools.
  • Water-based  - use lacquer-based paint as the base color. (glossy & glossy metallic paints are not allowed)
  • Do not apply masking tape on the top coat of acrylic paint.
